Our Love Story
April 9th, 2007 · Notebook ·
I met my husband in highschool. (I guess the highschool sweethearts thing really is true.) I was one grade below him so that made me…10th grade and him 11th grade. We were inseperable. And the teachers were on us a lot about it. It was kinda funny.
So, all thru highschool we were together. Then he graduated and started working for the school. So he would pick me up after school, take me home, visit a while, then go to work. Then I graduated. And started college. So then he would take me to school, sleep while I was in class, take me home, and go to work.
A couple month’s later, I moved in with him because he had gotten his own place. And it just went from there. We enjoyed dating life, we had Mini Buff, and then we got married. Well, got married while I was pregnant. And we’re still together. Not much of a love story, but we love eachother.

I met my wife on my second day of college (her first). I actually heard those mythical bells ringing. It took me a couple of weeks to convince her to go out with me, and the rest as they say is history. We’ve been married almost 16 years now. Congrats on your own story and hopefully you’ll have many happy chapters to add to it.

Not a love story that’s in a love movie, but it’s true and romantic. Best wishes for your couple. BTW, when we can see the little baby?
Reply: Most likely never. xD Sorry.

That’s what makes each love story unique. No two are alike. :o)
My Knight and I first met in first grade. Then I went to a different school. We met again in 10th grade. He says, the moment I walked into the class, he leaned over to his friend and told him, “That’s the girl I’m going to marry.”
I wasn’t allowed to date, so we remained friends through high school. After high school, he joined the Army and we started courting through letters. We got married one year after we graduated from high school.
This summer we’ll be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. We are blessed with five awesome children. Life is good.

I commented before, not knowing there was going to be a carnival on this! I still think your story is sweet. My dh and I met in High school too. He was flunking book keeping. Now I keep the books for our business. LOL

Awww…too sweet.
My husband and I were also high school sweethearts, I guess. We didn’t go to the same school, but we met when we were both in high school.

That’s lovely! It is very inspiring to see folks meet at such a young age and remain together through all of life’s changes and challenges. My best friends met when we were juniors in high school, I sang at their wedding in 1978, and they are still going strong!

I believe that you’re thinking of the classic fairy tale when you’re speaking of “love at first sight” and couples who are “meant to be”. Love at first sight doesn’t happen. it’s more like “Lust at first sight”. Then you get to know the person and either it works out or it doesn’t.
